the pan-african studies building has all these crazy wall murals in warm colors. i was trying to capture it, minimalistically. (see: badly)

first off, the dresses in the background are representitive of fashion [accidents/atrocities/masterpieces]that have occoured which are representitive of crazy shit that fashion students make.

second, laquita won't be wearing the swan dress. that's just trifilin'. HOWEVER, if you were to win the FAN ART contest, and wanted that as your prize- we could work something out.

-was colored in a hurry.

it's not tomorrow yet, but i'm posting anyway.

first off, thank you for all the comments! (the make me feel appreciated).

second, today's comic only has one panel, and that's because. uh. because i didn't want to waste that particular drawing (and shove it in the gallery where no one would ever find it.)

third: i'm going to have a fan-art contest. the winners will get something shiny, such as a drawing of anything they wish!! in the past people have asked me to draw lots of things, from unicorns, to erotic scenes with megaman characters. sooo... fire up your pencils! i'll also be posting this in the forum (see link to the right)

contest 1: Fan Art Contest


participants will submit one piece of art (in digital form) that includes something to do with Tan Socks. the characters don't have to act like they normally would, but the art must inculde at least one of them. this can include, but is not limited to:
-a portrait or drawing of one or more characters
-sequential art of character(s) doing something
-some kind of collage thingy that can use tansocks comics, but put together in a new and different way
or
-a rehashed comic where the dialouge is changed to create a different outcome.

contest 2: Link Button Contest


participants will submit a link button for my site in either .jpg or .gif format that is either 88x31 or 200x40. it must include
-the words "tan" and "socks" somewhere.
-the above words must be readable.

WINNERS WILL RECIEVE:
-one piece of origional [digital] art by me to be specified by the winner.
-the satisfaction of knowing you were better than the other people that submitted stuff.
-the winning entries will be posted on the tansocks.comicgenesis.com front page for 1 week, along with the winners' info. (website link, etc.)

good morning!

i really like this cover. it's fun when i get to play with filters like "lens flare". most of it i made by cutting out pieces of paper, though.

if you havn't noticed, all the chapter titles... i mean, the chapter titles from 3 on have someting in common. guess first, and you win.

this particular chapter, is going to have something to do with a student fashion show.

that's it. wait- no it's not. i did a fan-comic/art for Zan's Comic. it's about maniquinns.
